Immediate Past President Job Description

Role Summary:

The Immediate Past President is the 3rd year of the 3-year commitment. S/he is mentor to the Chapter and is responsible for process improvement and archival information

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Mentors the President and Directors as they develop and execute the strategic and mission of the Chapter
  • Leads the committee responsible for process improvement
  • Leads the committee responsible for archival information
  • Attends Board and Chapter meetings, remaining current in Chapter affairs

Required Qualifications

  1. Current chapter member in good standing
  2. High energy, positive, “can-do” attitude, flexibility, teamwork, and attention to detail; high degree of initiative
  3. Able to report status against the plan, regularly

Desired Qualifications

  1. Proficient in Microsoft Office
  2. Strong leadership and relationship management skills
  3. Keen attention to detail as well as solid project management skills
  4. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with subject matter expert
  5. Previous PMI Board experience a strong plus

Est. Hrs/Month = 10 - 15 hours/month
