Introduction to PMI Disciplined Agile Location: Online Meeting Time: 6:30pm - 8:00pm (EST) PDU's: 1 Technical; .5 Leadership Please join us on March 9th chapter meeting as Alan Zucker presents "Introduction to Disciplined Agile" Agile is changing the way we manage all projects. Agile projects are more successful and have higher customer satisfaction rates than traditional ones. It can also be used to deliver anything from non-profit programs to large, complicated cyber-physical products. The Project Management Institute acquired the Disciplined Agile (DA) toolkit to provide its members with credible new capabilities and certifications that will make them even more valuable in the marketplace. DA recognizes that every team, project, and organization operate within their own context. Disciplined Agile provides a pragmatic approach. It recognizes that making informed choices is good. The fundamental advice isto start where you are, do the best you canand always strive to get better. In this presentation, Alan Zucker explains the value of agile and the benefits of Disciplined Agile. Through this conversation, participants will understand how DA fits into their context, its practical applications, and how they can become part of this new and exciting movement. The Presenter - Alan Zucker Alan Zucker has over 25-years of experience managing projects and project execution organizations in Fortune 100 companies. His agile experience predates the Agile Manifesto, and he played a leadership role in the Agile/DevOps transformation of a large financial services enterprise. Currently, Alan is an instructor and consultant, sharing his project management and agile experience. He works nationally with leading professional development providers. He is an adjunct faculty memberat George Mason University, Northern Virginia Community College, and Graduate School USA. Alan has his PMP and Agile (ACP) certifications from the Project Management Institute. He was one of the first PMI members to be certified as a Discipline Agile Instructor and Coach. Additionally, he has multipleadvanced certifications from the Scrum Alliance and the Scaled Agile Institute (SAFe).
