AI as Your Project Management Copilot: Prompts, Agents, and Better Communication

Time: 6:30 - 8:00 PM, Clark University, 939 Main Street, ASEC Building Room 202, Worcester, MA 01610

Artificial intelligence is rapidly becoming a valuable tool for project management professionals, but getting meaningful results requires more than simply asking ChatGPT a question. The real value comes from knowing how to communicate effectively with AI and how to build reusable AI tools that support your everyday work.

In this interactive workshop, participants will explore practical ways to use generative AI to improve productivity, communication, and decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Craft better prompts using proven strategies for providing context, defining roles, establishing constraints, and producing more useful and reliable results.
  • Develop AI agents that can be configured with specific instructions, knowledge, and workflows to perform recurring project management tasks.
  • Build a communication-focused AI agent that can help transform project information into clear, audience-appropriate communications for stakeholders, executives, team members, and other project participants.

Throughout the workshop, participants will work with realistic project management scenarios and leave with practical prompting techniques and an AI communication agent they can continue refining and using after the session.

No programming or advanced AI experience is required. Participants should bring their curiosity, their project management experience, and a willingness to experiment.

Ideal for: Project managers, program managers, project coordinators, PMO professionals, team leads, and others responsible for planning, coordinating, and communicating project work.
