5 Common Leadership Behaviors That Weaken Professional Relationships and How to Strengthen Them
Join PMI Central Massachusetts for a session that emphasizes the human-centered competencies of communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement, that are essential for delivering value in today’s project environments. Uncover your blind spots that are undermining your professional relationships, and learn how to fix them in this exciting session.
You can be great at every metric tied to your role and still struggle with the people part of the job. It’s not because you lack effort, sensitivity, or good intentions. It’s because you need a deeper understanding of what it takes to build strong, successful partnerships with the people you work with.
In this talk, Executive Coach Danielle Terranova takes a candid look at the five relationship mistakes leaders make, why they matter, and how to fix them. Together, you’ll explore the hidden patterns that make workplace relationships so challenging to navigate, especially in moments of pressure, and what it looks like to handle those moments without damaging the partnerships you depend on to create successful projects.
You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of how you show up in your professional relationships and a more intentional approach to navigating conversations, challenges, and collaboration in a way that builds trust and improves how others experience working with you. And without all that unnecessary workplace tension and drama, you might even find yourself loving the people side of project management.
