Annual Prof Dev (Michael Chaleff) - Sept 14, 2022
Session I: Personal Communications and Executive Presence
The session begins by identifying seven key areas that undermine people’s confidence, then providing methods to fix and master these key areas. As a result of this program, participants walk out communicating with greater confidence and authority. Significantly, they will also walk out with the skills and knowledge needed to identify and correct problems that manifest long after this session.
Session II: Leading projects with no authority
This portion of the program would be taught using hypotheticals. These hypotheticals would be tailored to the needs of participants and would be crafted based upon input from a survey coming out soon. The use of hypotheticals is intended to generate discussion among participants, followed by a facilitated conversation in general session that permits the learning to come from peers in the room.
Session III: Bringing it all together
Problem Solving and implementation of skills learned in the first two sessions
As an added bonus, there will be a Q&A session after the event via Michael's zoom account for people to ask questions or go deeper into the concepts that were discussed. For those that attend, this may be where the greatest learning occurs because in smaller groups, people feel more comfortable asking their most challenging questions.
