PMI CMass is pleased to announce they are introducing a mentorship program. We will begin with a pilot program, limited to six mentees, running from January 2020 through June 2020.
What is it? An opportunity to share project management expertise and to leverage experiences from senior project managers.
Who is eligible?
A project manager seeking advice from an experienced PM professional to improve their project management skills or anyone thinking about exploring the profession of project management. Mentees do not have to have their PMP. You must be an active member of PMI CMass to participate in this program.
Like to be a Mentor?
We are looking for experienced project managers who can be a trusted advisor, guide and/or coach to another project manager. Mentors must have a current PMP certification and be an active member of the PMI CMass chapter.
PDUs –Both mentees and mentors can earn PDUs.
Mentees who are credential holders can earn PDUs in Education for being mentored
Mentors who are credential holders and who mentor in project management topics can claim Giving Back PDUs
Schedule (2019 to 2020)
Month 1 – November = Open application period.
Month 2 – Dec 1 = Application close.
Month 3 – Jan – early = Mentor orientation
Month 4 – Jan – mid/late = Kick-off
Month 5 – Feb – Mentee/Mentor meet
Month 6 – Mar – Mid-point Meeting
Month 7 – Apr – Mentee/Mentor meet
Month 8 – May – Wrap up Meeting – PDUs, Evals, Debrief, etc.
Month 9 – June – Mentorship Team Lessons Learned
