Role Summary:

The Recording Secretary is responsible for recording and archiving the Chapter Board meeting minutes for all BOD meetings

 

Duties and Responsibilities

Recording Secretary Responsibilities

  • Keeps records of all proceedings, actions at Chapter Board Meetings
  • Takes notes during BOD meetings, and circulates them to the BOD within five (5) days
  • Tracks action items and lists in meeting minutes
  • Conducts other correspondence of the Chapter as requested by the President
  • Maintains the archive of meeting minutes on the Chapter's Web-based operation center
  • Maintain and delivers all permanent records to successor
  • Personal laptop is a "plus", to facilitate note-taking
 

Desired Qualifications

1. Proficient in Microsoft Office

2. High energy, positive, “can-do” attitude, flexibility, teamwork, and attention to detail; high degree of initiative

3. Strong communication skills

4. Keen attention to detail as well as solid project management skills

5. Agree to BOD Operating Agreement
