Licensed Scrum Master (LSM)
Scrum has proven to be so effective that organizations once leveraging a waterfall-style project management approach have instead embraced "Agile." These organizations include the likes of: Gerber, Schlumberger, Bosch, 3M, Bloomberg, ABI, BP, J.P Morgan, SAAB, Toyota, Autodesk, Fidelity, Citizen's Bank, etc., etc. This list is long and is growing. Recently launched organization like One Peloton, Amazon, Google, etc., have little to no legacy involving traditional practices. Recent startups, joint ventures, etc., have no interest in traditional practices and some high-tech venture capital firms will only invest if an organization uses Scrum. Finally, the US DOD itself, through administrative law put into effect in 2010, requires tech-related programs to use Scrum.
Given this changing reality, PMI CMass is offering LSM and CS@SP certifications to its chapter members.
